Dr goodharts home remedy

Dr Goodhart and his Home Remedy has been sharing folk and roots  music in Northern Michigan for nearly 40 years. Dr. Goodhart named the band after becoming a land owner and building a cabin in the Goodhart, MI area. 

Dr Goodhart and his Home Remedy features Jim Gillespie who has been the musical director for the group since its inception in 1983. Dr. Goodhart's Home Remedy has played at every Blissfest since then. Gillespie is the founder and former director of the Blissfest Music Organization.

  Dr. Goodhart's Home Remedy is a regular feature at the Goodhart General Store in Goodhart, MI during Market Day. The Goodhart Market Days occur every Saturday during the summer season and feature crafts, specialty foods and farm produce plus excellent deli and bakery items from the store.
